Safari in Tanzania:
Land of safaris and a stage for adventures, the north of Tanzania is famous for the abundance and diversity of wildlife. Arusha is known as the capital of the north, a meeting point for travelers at the beginning or end of their African expedition.
The Tarangire National Park is one of the largest and most diverse in the country. During the annual dry season, the Tarangire River becomes a magnet for wildlife that, driven by thirst, approaches the river to regain strength. Large herds of elephants, wildebeests, buffaloes, or impalas, among others, are followed by eager lions and predators. This park is the only place in the country where you can observe oryx, gerenuks, and baobabs.
Undoubtedly, the most famous place in the country and a must-visit during our trip to Tanzania, is the Serengeti National Park where the Great Migration spends most of the year and the Big Five coexist with many other species such as zebras, antelopes, elands, giraffes, or birds of prey. Here, you can enjoy exclusive experiences such as hot air balloon safaris or airplane tours.
Located in the north of Tanzania, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world. Here you can see the Big Five, visit a local village, or enjoy various activities such as bird watching, hiking, or biking routes.
Trips to Zanzibar:
The Zanzibar archipelago is located off the coast of Tanzania, very close to the city of Dar es Salaam. Also known as the Spice Islands due to their past as a colonial port, today their white sandy beaches and turquoise waters have become a mandatory stop on your trip to Tanzania, after a safari through the country’s natural parks. A magical place to enjoy a few days of rest in this paradisiacal environment.
Among all the islands of the archipelago, Unguja, also known as Zanzibar Island, stands out as the largest and most visited island. To the north is Pemba, known as one of the best places in the world for diving. The rest of the islands in the archipelago are very small and scarcely inhabited.
Whether by air or sea, arrival at Zanzibar Island is always via Stone Town, the largest city. Its historic center, declared a World Heritage Site in 2000, is worth a visit to appreciate the historical and architectural wealth of this labyrinthine city.
