Japan Complete Kumano Road 13 noches
The 13-Night Japan Complete Tour is the most comprehensive tour of Japan, designed to fully understand the culture and traditions of the country of the rising sun.
We will visit Kyoto, the ancient capital of the country and known as "the city of thousands of temples", to see from nearby the famous Temple of Kinkakuji (or Golden Pavilion), the Nijo Castle and the Arashiyama bamboo forest. The tour continues with the visit of the Himeji Castle, one of the most important castles in Japan and the most visited.
We will stop in the Hiroshima city to visit the Peace Memorial Park and the famous Torji Gate of the Itsukushima Shinto Shrine, and Koyasan, famous for its Sacred Mountain and the Kongobuji Temple.
You will have the opportunity to visit the ancient Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route until you reach the Kumano Hongu Taisha Shrine, you will see the samurai culture in the town of Kanazawa, enjoy a mini-cruise on the Ashi Lake, and admire the majestic Mount Fuji aboard a cable car.

Kansai / Itami (Arrival) - Kyoto
Arrival at the Kansai International Airport -or Itami-, on your own flight.
After the immigration and customs formalities, a reception by an English speaking assistant will take place.
Transfer to the hotel in a regular service vehicle with the assistant.
The check-in time at the hotel in Kyoto is from 3 pm. In case of an earliest check-in, they must request an extra night prior to the tour, subject to availability.
Overnight at your hotel in Kyoto for three nights.

Day 2
Kyoto Tour
Duration approximately of the tour: from the 08:15 h until the 13:30 h
Breakfast in the hotel, meeting in the lobby and visit the capital Kyoto with English-speaking guide, seeing the garden of theTenryuji temple, the forest of bamboo of Arashiyama, the Temple of Kinkakuji (Pavilion Golden) and the castle of Nijo.
The tour ends at the restaurant and, after lunch, back to the hotel (on your own).
Afternoon: leisure for personal activities.

In this Tour we do not visit the Shinto shrine's Heian, the Kiyomizu Temple and the Shinto shrine of Fushimi

Day 3
Kyoto - Fushimi Inari (Optional)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Free day to do personal activities.
OPTIONAL TOUR - Tour to Nara and Fushimi Inari for half of a day
Meeting at the lobby and the tour to Nara will begin going on public transport with an English speaking guide. We will visit the Todaiji Temple with its huge image of Buddha and the Park of the Sacred Deer. On the way to Kyoto, we will visit the Shinto Shrine of Fushimi Inari. After the visit, we´ll return to your Kyoto hotel. Approximate length of the tour: from 08:30 to 13:30. Overnight at your hotel in Kyoto. We do not visit the Shinto Shrine of Kasuga.4
Day 4
Kyoto - Himeji - Kurashiki - Hiroshima
Your bags will be transferred to the hotel in Hiroshima on a courier service and will arrive the next day. Please prepare your carry-on luggage for just one night.
Breakfast at the hotel, meeting in the lobby and transfer to the Kyoto station.
Departure from Kyoto towards Himeji on the "Hikari" bullet train.
Arrival to Himeji and the visit to Himeji Castle will start, this place was declared a World Heritage Site.
After the visit, we´ll leave towards Kurashiki by road.
Lunch in a restaurant and in the afternoon the city tour begins with the visit to the ancient Ohashi Residence and to the historic Bikan district.
After the visit, we´ll head towards Hiroshima by road. Approximate length of the tour: from 07:30 to 19:30.
Arrival in Hiroshima and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel in Hiroshima for two nights.
The entrance to the Himeji Castle can not be booked and long lines are formed to get into the tower. In the case that we can´t make it, it will be compensated on the 8th day of the tour, with a visit to the Osaka Castle.

Day 5
Hiroshima
Breakfast at the hotel, meeting in the lobby and the visit to the city begins.
We will visit the Miyajima Island, the Peace Memorial Park and its museum, the Atomic Bomb Dome and the Shinto Shrine of Itsukushima, famous for its Torii gate over the sea.
After the visit, we´ll return to the hotel. Approximate length of the tour: from 09:00 to 17:00.
Overnight at your hotel in Hiroshima.

Day 6
Hiroshima - Koyasan
Your bags will be transferred directly to your hotel in Osaka. Please prepare only hand luggage for two nights at Koyasan and the Kawayu Onsen.
Breakfast at the hotel, meeting in the lobby and transfer to the Hiroshima train station.
Departure from Hiroshima to "Shin-Osaka" on the Nozomi bullet train, arrival in Shin-Osaka and departure to Koyasan by road.
Lunch in a restaurant.
Arrival to Koyasan and the visit to the Holy Mountain starts with the visit of the Kongobuji Temple, the Danjo Garan and the Okunoin Mausoleum.
After the visit, transfer to the Shukubo Monastery. Approximate length of the tour: from 09:00 to 17:00.
Vegetarian dinner in Shukubo.
Accommodation at Shukubo for one night.

Day 7
Koyasan - Kumano Kodo - Kawayu Onsen
Typical Japanese vegetarian breakfast in shukubo.
Meeting in the lobby and departure to the sacred site of Kumano by road with an English speaking guide.
Arrival in Kumano and lunch in a restaurant.
In the afternoon we will visit the old Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route for 60 minutes (4 km) to finally visit the Kumano Hongu Taisha Sanctuary, which is the main site of the pilgrimage route, and Oyunohara, which was the ancient site.
After the visit, transfer to Ryokan. Approximate length of the tour: from 08:30 to 17:00.
Dinner at the Ryokan.
Accommodation for one night at the Ryokan on Kawayu Onsen.

Day 8
Kawayu Onsen - Shirahama - Osaka
Breakfast at the hotel.
Meeting in the lobby and transfer to the Shirahama train station. Departure from Shirahama to Osaka on the Kuroshio express train.
Arrival at Osaka and the visit of the Osaka city starts to see the "Floating Garden" Observatory located on the Umeda Sky Building within the Dotombori Neighborhood.
After the visit, transfer to the hotel. Approximate length of the tour: from 08:30 until the afternoon.
Overnight at your hotel in Osaka.

Day 9
Osaka - Kanazawa

Your bags will be transferred directly to the hotel in Tokyo. Please prepare your carry-on luggage for only two nights in Kanazawa and Takayama
Breakfast at the hotel.
Meeting in the lobby and transfer to the Osaka train station. Departure from Osaka to Kanazawa on the Thunderbird express train.
Arrival in Kanazawa and the tour with an English speaking guide will commence. We will visit the Kenroku-en Garden, the Oumicho Market, the Higashi Chayagai and the Nagamachi neighborhoods, where we will visit the residence of the Nomura Samurai family.
After the visit, transfer to the hotel. Approximate length of the tour: from 08:45 until 17:00.
Overnight at your hotel in Kanazawa.

Day 10
Kanazawa - Shirakawago - Takayama

Breakfast at the hotel, meeting in the lobby and the Shirakawago tour with an English speaking guide starts.
Arrival to Shirakawago and the visit to the town declared Patrimony of Humanity starts to see its traditional houses called "Gassho-Zukuri".
Departure from Shirakawago to Takayama by road.
Lunch in a restaurant.
In the afternoon, the city tour starts to visit Yatai Kaikan and the Kami-Sannomachi Street.
After the visit, transfer to the hotel. Approximate length of the tour: from 08:00 to 17:00.
Dinner at the hotel.
Overnight in Takayama for one night.

Day 11
Nagoya - Hakone - Tokyo
Breakfast at the hotel.
Meeting in the lobby and transfer to the Takayama train station by foot. Departure from Takayama to Nagoya on the express train named Hida.
Arrival to Nagoya and departure to Odawara on the Hikari bullet train.
Arrival to Odawara and transfer to Hakone.
Lunch in a restaurant.
In the afternoon the visit to the Fuji- Hakone National Park to visit Ashi Lake on a mini-cruise begins, and after that the Mount Komagatake visit going up on a cable car.
After the visit, we continue towards Tokyo by road. Approximate length of the tour: from 08:00 to 19:00.
Arrival in Tokyo and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel in Tokyo for three nights.
Depending on the weather, you can change mountain tours for the temples included in this tour.
Mount Fuji is almost always cloudy especially in summer, so it is very difficult to see it in full.

Day 12
Guided Tokyo tour
Breakfast at the hotel, meeting in the lobby and the visit to Tokyo with an English speaking guide begins.
We will visit the Tokyo Tower, the Imperial Palace Square, the Asakusa Kannon Temple with its commercial arcade in Nakamise.
Lunch in a restaurant.
The tour ends at the restaurant and the transfer to the hotel will be on your own. Approximate length of the tour: from 09:00 to 13:00.

Day 13
Tokyo - Nikko (Optional)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Free day for personal activities or to take the optional tour.
OPTIONAL TOUR - tour to Nikko
Meeting in the lobby to start the tour to Nikko with an English speaking guide. Once in Nikko, we will visit the the Shinto Shrine of Toshogu, the Chuzenji lake up on the road and then the Kegon waterfall. Lunch in a restaurant. After the visit, you´ll return to your hotel in Tokyo. Accommodation at the hotel in Tokyo.14
Day 14
Tokyo - Narita / Haneda (Departure)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Meeting in the lobby and transfer to the Narita International Airport (or Haneda), in a regular service basis with an English speaking assistant.
Departure from Narita or Haneda on your own flight.
