• A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is required for travelers over one year of age who have transited or come from countries at risk of yellow fever transmission.
• Malaria is transmitted through the bite of a mosquito, so there is no vaccine to prevent it. These mosquitoes only bite at night, so wearing long sleeves and pants is the best protection, along with mosquito repellent. Bed nets are provided in accommodations. Nevertheless, we recommend carrying antimalarial tablets in case the disease is contracted.

Kenya enjoys a tropical climate and the average temperature of the country throughout the year is about 25º, although in the inland mountains, the temperature can drop to 0º.
From December to March is the dry season and the hottest time of the year. These months are fantastic for including a few days of beach in your trip to Kenya and diving in its spectacular coral reefs or climbing Mount Kenya without having to travel with technical clothing. From June to October are the coldest months, with temperatures that can drop to 15º, especially at night or in the early morning. Kenya has 2 rainy seasons: During the “short rains”, from October to November, the sun usually shines during the day and a downpour occurs at sunset. During the “long rains”, in April and May, it usually rains almost every day, and the storms are longer.
