Early breakfast at the camp.
This day will be dedicated to the discovery of the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The caldera measures 20 km in diameter and protects in its center an incredibly rich fauna that is perfectly shielded by a 600-meter-high wall. This natural amphitheater is undoubtedly the most famous wildlife reserve in the world… It is the land of the Big Five: buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhinoceros.
Picnic lunch.
The safari continues in the afternoon, in this splendid location that offers forests, plains, and swamps, where different fauna cross in varied landscapes.
Ascent from the crater around 4:00 PM and a short stop on the north slope of the crater to admire the superb landscapes in beautiful light.
After reaching our camp, we will take a 1-hour walk at the top of a Kopje to admire the great plains of the Serengeti before the sun sets.
