After breakfast at the camp, we will continue our safari, heading to the great plains of the Serengeti.
The Serengeti is a vast ecosystem, home to a dazzling array of wildlife and the site of the planet’s largest migration. The name comes from the Maasai word for endless plains, but the Serengeti is much more, with woodlands, riverine forests, and swamps that provide shelter to several species of mammals and more than 300 varieties of birds. The fate of these animals is intimately linked to the ever-changing landscape. The transition from the rainy season to the dry season means there is no rest or stability: those who live here must remain in constant motion to survive on the savanna.
Picnic lunch.
In the afternoon, we will continue our safari along the Seronera and Banagi rivers, where a significant concentration of felines (lions, leopards, …) is often found.
Arrival at the camp is expected around 5:00 / 5:30 PM.
Dinner and accommodation at Ronjo Camp, which is located in the center of Serengeti NP, near the Banagi River and away from other camps. Ronjo Camp is nestled in the heart of a beautiful acacia forest, providing cover and shade. Ronjo offers an authentic experience, where you can forget about your phone, admire the stars around a campfire, and listen to the “voices” of the savanna.
