Nairobi-Naivasha

After breakfast, departure westward, with two options (to be informed at the time of booking):

Option 1) NAKURU National Park: Upon arrival in Nakuru and after lunch at a park lodge, a photo safari in Nakuru National Park, known mainly for its rhinoceroses and different bird species.

Nakuru is a city on the shores of the lake that bears its name. Located within a reserve that stretches across almost 200 square kilometers, it is the capital of Nakuru County, located in the Great Rift Valley. Ten kilometers from the city lies the enormous Menengai crater. A hiking trail leads to the edge of this ancient caldera, offering views over the lake and its surroundings. Lake Nakuru National Park, which surrounds Nakuru, is home to different bird species, as well as more than 50 varieties of mammals. These include lion, leopard, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, rhinoceros, antelope, and various primates.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Option 2) NAIVASHA LAKE: Arrival at the lodge and time to rest before lunch. In the afternoon, we will take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha and a walking safari on Crescent Island, where it is possible to spot gazelles, giraffes, and zebras.

Lake Naivasha is the highest of the Rift Valley lakes. It is surrounded by papyrus trees and acacias, a unique geological landscape visited by a wide variety of more than 450 bird species. A natural life source where zebras, hippos, and buffaloes among many others come to drink.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
