After breakfast at the hotel, we will head towards Amboseli National Park. We will pass through the typical African savannah dotted with local farms and colorful Masai shepherds with their cattle. We will arrive in time for lunch at the lodge.
At 3:30 p.m., we will head out for our first photo safari in Amboseli National Park, famous for its large herds of elephants.
The ecosystem of Amboseli National Park spans more than 3,000 km2 in the southern area of Kenya. There is no other place in Africa where you can find the curious combination of topography, geological history, hydrology, and culture of Amboseli. Despite its moderate rainfall, it has a swamp system and groundwater fed by Mount Kilimanjaro, which supports the life of a spectacular variety of birds and mammals. Amboseli is one of Kenya’s most popular destinations and is home to the country’s largest population of elephants, as well as buffaloes, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, and hippos.
Dinner and accommodation at the lodge.
