Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Thung Nang – Ninhi Binh

In the morning, departure for Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century. The “inland Halong Bay” is situated in a flat valley surrounded by limestone mountains, forming a natural wall that protects the ancient citadel. Upon arrival, we visit the temples of the Dinh and Le Emperors. These two temples bear Chinese influences and were built in the 17th century.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, a bike ride along scenic paths amidst beautiful rice fields to Bich Dong Pagoda, built in the early Le dynasty. Afterwards, we head to Thung Nang pier to embark on a sampan for a spectacular 2-hour journey through a cave and stunning rural landscapes of limestone cliffs and rice fields.
