Breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast we will go to Sikandara. In this place, Akbar began to build his own Mausoleum, a perfect mix of Hindu, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist and Jain designs to show the religious tolerance of the imperator. The tomb has a three-story red sandstone minaret that has wonderful marble incrustations at the four corners of the building.
We will continue the visti towards the Red Fort, one of the great fortified residences built in several strategic points of the Mughal empire. The fort presents a good example of Islamic and Hindu architectural styles. It is said that the Agra Fort is where Shajahan saw Mumtaz and fell in love at first sight.
Sunset at the Taj Mahal, the marble monument of love that needs no introduction. The Taj Mahal was built by Emperor Shah Jahan as a mausoleum for his beloved queen Mumtaz Begum. This wonder of the world is said that it took 21 years to build. It has a huge bright white dome with four minarets at the corners and is characterized by perfect symmetry and harmony, either in the form of minarets, the domes, the central arch of the facade, the cavities arched perfectly willing or intricate work stone inlay. It is the most extravagant monument ever built for love.
