Japan complete, 12 nights
This extensive 13-day tour is designed so that you can visit all the most strategic points in Japan in a single trip. In addition, the tour includes two nights of accommodation in "Ryokan", traditional Japanese accommodation with traditional dinners and breakfasts included, so that you can live from within the ancient traditions of this wonderful country.
The visits begin in Tokyo, the current capital of the country, where you can visit all the most emblematic places of this city for 4 days, between skyscrapers and ancient temples. Then we will visit Hakone to go up to the 5th station of Mt.Fuji and Takayama that will allow you to go back in time and imagine the Japan of the 17th century walking through its streets.
During our visits we will also pass through the village of Shirakawago, declared a World Heritage Site for its typical thatched-roof houses, and Hiroshima, famous for its Floating Torii, the gateway to Itsukushima Shrine.
Finally, the tour ends in Kyoto, the ancient capital of the country and known as "the city of a thousand temples", so you can see the famous Kinkakuji Temple (or the Golden Pavilion), the Nijo Castle or the forest of Arashiyama bamboo.

Arrive at Narita or Haneda International Airport.
Transfer by Airport Limousine Bus to the scheduled hotel in Tokyo (transfer without assistance).
Arrival and registration at the selected hotel and rest of the day free for your activities.

Free day to visit the city.
You will be struck in this cosmopolitan city by the incredible mixture of the classical, Temples and Sanctuaries, in contrast to the enormous magnitude of the most modern buildings in the city. Possibility of hiring optional excursions such as Nikko or Kamakura.

Tokyo - Hakone
Full day tour to Mt.Fuji and Hakone National Park.
Meeting with the English-speaking guide in the Hotel lobby. Transfer to the 5th station of Mt.Fuji by coach.
Ascent to the 5th station of Mt.Fuji. Lunch.
Lake Ashi cruise and cable car ride to Mt. Komagatake.
Overnight stay in Hakone at "Ryokan", Japanese-style accommodation, including traditional dinner and breakfast, where you can enjoy a relaxing hot spring bath.

Hakone - Takayama
Breakfast in the Ryokan.
Transfer* to Odawara station from Hakone by train or local bus (Odakyu bus). From Odawara, transfer to Takayama by bullet train and then an express train via Nagoya.
The visit of Takayama will allow you to go back in time and imagine the 17th century Japan by walking through its magnificent streets. Inside the Kusakabe Mingei-Kan Museum you will learn about the traditional architecture of Takayama.
Overnight stay in Takayama in a "Ryokan", Japanese-style accommodation, including traditional dinner and breakfast.

Takayama - Shirakawago - Kanazawa
In Takayama we recommend visiting the traditional morning market.
Transfer to Kanazawa via Shirakawago by local bus. Shirakawago is a village declared as a World Heritage Site for its typical thatched-roof houses called Gassho-zukuri.

Kanazawa - Kyoto
Free time to visit Kanazawa known as "Little Kyoto".
Transfer to Kyoto by express train.

Kyoto - Free Day 1
The visit of Kyoto will bring you closer to the deepest Japanese spirit. You can visit its ancient temples and breathe the most beautiful of ancient Japan.
We recommend visiting Nara, where you can see its Big Buddha, as well as the Kasuga Shrine. The city of Nara, founded in the year 710, was the capital of Japan for 74 years.

Kyoto - Hiroshima - Miyajima - Hiroshima
From Kyoto by bullet train to Hiroshima.
To visit Miyajima from Hiroshima you should take the local train to Miyajima-Guchi which will take approximately 30 min. and then a ferry. It is a Sacred Island and the symbol that indicates this characteristic is the so-called Floating Torii, gateway to Itsukushima Shrine.
