After an early breakfast, descend to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for a safari in the crater. Picnic lunch or return to the camp for lunch.
Located in northern Tanzania, the Ngorongoro Crater is known for its natural beauty and abundant wildlife. Therefore, it has become one of Africa’s most popular safari destinations. Surrounded by the highlands of Tanzania, this crater is said to be the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Safaris are excellent throughout the year, and the diversity of landscapes and wildlife is incredible: the savannah blends with wetlands, rivers, and thickets, sheltering black-maned lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, elephants, leopards, and many other species.
Once we leave the crater, we will head towards Karatu, arriving in time for dinner.
